Would like to do this but not sure if that much drinking and the extra miles is the best thing as I'll be tapering for the 50k wich is exactly a week later.

May have to be a lightweight and just come for the first few hours and just have a little bit to drink. :-)

No, can't do that because you will all be very drunk by then and I won't be...and I plan not to get too drunk. So being there at the start is more sensible. I don't want to have to be sensible but I fear I might have to this one time!
