Pesto - that's right. One of only three varieties of weather ever encountered by visitors to the Lake District, namely

"It's always like this" (this one has been in use for about the last week)
"You should have been here last week", and
"Where do you think the lakes come from?"

SW - pleased to brighten up somebody's morning :)

The 4th one could be "it's always like this in April. Don't know why you keep being surprised by it.." :-)

Yay, lots of people. :) I best make sure Oscar has bath before next weekend then... he smells like the bottom of a pond at the moment.

there's also a 5th type of weather
the we-have-come-within-inches-of-turning-the-Lake-District-mountains-into-a-morgue weather, only ever experienced by idiots who own slate quarries

(or as we know it, Derwent weekend weather!)
