My swimming isn't up to the distance within the time frame, there's no way I'm going to make 5.5km in 3.5 hours. This time next year, maybe, but not this year. So with that in mind I looked at my options. I could just write it off as a bad investment. But then I'd always have the nagging, 'maybe I should' thought in my head, when I really can't. I could get a partial refund. I could transfer the place. The current entry fee is £105. To transfer the place the person taking the place would need to make a reasonable offer, and also pay the £15 transfer fee. This would all need to be done within the next few days (transfers can actually happen up until August, but getting my money back expires soon). So, any takers? My place is for a wetsuit swimmer, and includes the coach from the end to the start.

I bought it from his gallery in Keswick and have never had it framed, still in original cellophane. £10 plus postage to anyone who wants it (and loves the Lake District of course).

These shoes have a bit of a loyal following in certain corners, but they're too minimalist for me. Been worn a handful of times and in good condition, just been sitting in a cupboard doing nothing. Size 8.5, quite a wide fit. Just anecdotally, I ran most of the UTMB with a guy wearing a pair of these, he's braver than me that's for sure! What would be reasonable? £25? I'll post at cost.
