Whoops - four weeks to go and needing a lot of work to be done before this race - first main race of this year. It's my PB course so need to get that work in.

Anyone else heading up for this race?

Says on the website that it has not been cancelled in the 26 years it has been running!
Let's hope them saying that has not jinxed the event!

it was snowing 10 mins before start a couplle of years ago - no snow on route but a shocking day - spectators got battered and the snow gates on a9 were closed that afternoon!

Hya guys, I was there a couple of years ago in the snow and it was awful, one of my worst races.

Forecast looks horrendous, but I think by the tone of their website message they will go ahead if the course is runnable, whatever the roads are like

I'm supposed to be driving up tomorrow morning with two club mates and we are going to make a final decision tomorrow about going.

Santa - They haven't sent out race packs, you get them from the leisure centre up until 12:15pm. Maybe see you tomorrow :-)
