I had an unpleasant experience when running( or trying to) along the little track that comes out on the Finkley road near Flash Stile: a black lab appeared and began barking, blocking the route. He wouldn't move when I spoke nicely or when I shooed him and no owner was anywhere to be seen. I was nervous of trying to pass him so ended up going back and along the other side of the hedge. I like dogs but I found this quite intimidating. Does anyone know who he belongs to and why he is blocking a footpath off the leash? It makes me reluctant to go down there and it's one of my favourite routes.

Please can cat owners keep their cats in at night. Every night they are running across the roof, going into the garden and if a window is open, they will come in. They are also fighting other cats, screaming and attacking.
It’s best for all including the cat.

I think boris has eased the restrictions on cats having to stay in. I’m sure he said they can now meet another cat as long as they social distance and wear a mask
