Hi guys. I just want to make everyone aware about buying cheap USB plugs from an Aberdeen shop. The plug cost me £4.99 and I charged my phone in my bedroom.... just as I was going to sleep it was like a firework went off!.... the bloody charger plug BLEW OUT THE SOCKET! Hit the roof! I genuinely thought at the time that someone put a rocket through the window as it was that loud! I couldn't sleep that night and was panicking about plugs etc switching everything off.... the next day I presented the blown up plug to shop owner to explain what happened and asked for a refund... only for him to tell me WE DON'T DO REFUNDS... and gave me a replacement plug instead???? L🙈🤔 so me being me... I was scared to use the replacement plug but I thought, ok I'll plug it in while I'm watching TV and at least I can keep an eye on it. My phone rang and I went to answer it and BOOM!!!!!! THING BLEW UP IN MY FACE!!!!!!!!! So shop thinks me and my kids lives are only worth £4.99????? Trading standards have now taking them off the shelves but plz folks DO NOT BUY CHEAP USB PLUGS. I can't sleep and constantly worried incase I've left something on as I have kids sleeping. Be safe guys xx
