Kept dry, indoors and at a fairly stable temperature you’d hope not. I’ve never had a dishwasher though - there’s the plumbing for it here (in fact there’s plumbing in all 3 of the under counter spaces) but it’s not an appliance I need for one.

No, I don't have one either... But it seemed silly to not keep it. It is going where the washing machine is in the kitchen, only room for 1 appliance that needs water and power... Washing machine will move into my new building... But currently re-considering and stick the dishwasher in the building, to clean my medicine making equipment properly... The idea of not doing the washing i the house appeals though... |

Worth keeping certainly. I hope you’ve got a sack truck for moving the WM if you choose to

Anyone got a brief summary of the soda crystal thing? I can buy those in the shops but never knew what to use them for. Preferably using a ball not the tray. (I am partly responsible for the washing.)

Fields yes, sack truck and the plumber said he'd help and install the dishwasher in the house and put washing machine in the new building. "My" men are incredibly strong! My friend and I were at our limit with a small bookcase that needed to move from house to building. We could not see how we'd get it onto the mezzanine. The electrician on Monday: picks the thing up under his right arm and climbs up the ladder with it 😱😱😱 I was going to ask him tomorrow to pull out the washing machine, but that is now not needed ☺️ |

I only really use soda crystals, white vinegar and bicarbonate for cleaning.

Same here Fields. After buying sofa crystals to unblock my bathroom sink, I went down a natural cleaning rabbit hole on the internet. I now only use white vinegar as fabric softener in the machine - my clothes are soft ( and def don’t smell of vinegar) and I don’t get horrid black mouldy bits in the washer.
