Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Good point by Oscar. Anything created after 1970 should be automatically excluded from deathmatches.

This is excellent. I too voted for Daphne, why wouldn't you? I mean. You know.

Anyhow, I will find most of this very difficult as I probably love all of it. Fleagle got my vote too. Anything Wacky Racing will go a long way, is Yogi Bear HB, Top Cat?

As for Wimpy being 70s and 80s, yes, but we were in Shrewsbury recently, there was one there, I couldn't believe my eyes, last one I ate in was a branch at The Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, when the train was late, by about a day!

Wimpy is the home of the hamburger. We've got the greatest burgers under the bun.

Chelmsford's went a while ago but I think there's still one in Witham.

There are quite a lot of them in Essex. Colchester and Maldon for sure. I think Harlow too.

Bit surprised to find out that most of these cartoons had stopped being made before I was born.

So-so -the conceit of having Yogi, Huckleberry Hound, Top Cat, etc, all living in the same town is cute, but the writing is a bit anaemic….

Is there one in Maldon? That's news. The Chelmsford one was on that dreadful strip opposite the bus station - I think it might now be Essex Kebab.

It's a good conceit I agree.
