Well done all! Nice meeting some of you on Friday/Saturday. You all did great. (And I'm glad I'm not as nuts as you to run/cycle/walk this far four days in a row. ;-))

I am sure that the organisers would appreciate some constructive feedback... my thoughts are
1) If you're getting more arrows printed up, make the heads of them bigger (the bike ones were very clear) probably just my failing eyesight but the black solid arrow ones from 5 feet, very clear, but from 30 feet across a road quite tricy to see which way the arrows were facing? 2) Not sure of the numbers for each event, but I met only two people doing less than the full distances though sure of course there were more, I wonder if the number of options could be cut down rather than 4 options per event to make logistics easier? 3) Making gpx files of the routes was an excellent idea, I managed to go astray by about 100 yards over the 4 days, with the maps/signs/route instructions/gpx routes, very tricky to go astray and I suspect if we're honest with ourselves whenever we went astray it was our own fault?! Great efforts on the route instructions/marking. 4) I'd gladly pay another £5 a day to have some calories available at the aid stations, a bit spartan as they were (which was fine as was advertised) and for some people it's a long old day out there... and whilst yes on three days there are pubs, most people don't want a meal, they want a few biscuits, jelly babies etc 5) I'd have one main briefing on the first day and then (as happened) on days 2/3/4 just have 5 minutes before the off any last minute instructions... 6) I'd maybe swap day 4 to another day, the hilliest of the routes was probably physically the hardest and maybe on day 2 or 3 a better option for people? 7) Get the medals ordered 3 months earlier, was a bit anti-climatic on day 4 to be told they'd be posted... 8) Overall though excellent event!! Am sure it will be much bigger next year!

I would agree with Traviss, The event as a whole was magnificent!.........there is always going to be things that need tweaking but, for a first time on Cycling and running, it was done very well!.....I have run far less organised events and got terribly lost on the instructions too!.....these were good 95% of the time, I would just like to add that if you have to venture from the road/path your on, then the route instructions must tell you to!, not just an arrow that can be turned or removed, a few people were confused on day 3 with Red Dock Lane / Mill lane?? if the arrow pointing left at the junction had been vandalised we would have all gone the wrong way here, just a note on the the instructions would have given most people confidence...........and, maybe the colour of the flags on the grass should be changed from green?..........these are constructive comments too!...........just to help me get a quicker time next year

I just got back home and wanted to say what a great event it was! Def doing it next year although I hope this time it won't be 2 days after my 24hr run!
To people who got lost - I didn't even take the instructions with me, nor the maps, and didn't get lost at all (except of one incident in the fields when I was in shock after seeing the dead sheep), the arrows were more than sufficient and I'm sure that it is if I had attepmted to map read that I would've lost for sure!
Speep and especially pigs were absolutely terryfying but a bit of adrenaline never too bad. However it If I could choose I'd do route 4 four times No fields and no hungry animals running at you
