Palace v Stockport was very poor. I was hoping for several more goals after we went ahead inside 4 minutes.

Last time I watched Palace play Stockport at Selhurst Park we won 7-0. That was a 1979 league cup game.

I don't know how Arsenal managed it, but they made me want United to win. Impressed by their attitude, their man of the match was Kai Havertz.

The same, Joe and I were listening to the end on the way back from Palace and both rooting for United. I'm not comfortable saying that.

I think I detest this Arsenal team more than the George Graham one with its dour, mean football and Donkey Adams perpetually appealing for offside.

Dio, I did see Palace come from 2-0 down to draw with Stockport once. That was my only time at that fixture.

I did have my first season ticket that season when we won 7-0. As it was midweek and not included in the season ticket, my Dad went instead of me. I think the following home match had Neil Everitt's pictures of the goals with the caption, "The Magnificent Seven." However, for the Team of the Eighties at home to a side three divisions below, it was something that you ought to have expected.

When you play Leveine’s famous 4-6-0 and the opposition virtually kick the ball into their own net twice, you look like a genius….

‘Arry’ Potter off to a flier, but one of luckiest wins I’ve ever seen us get.

Chelsea recall Chalobah from Palace. Probably means Desasi is off

Ah, the beautiful game, remember that? Let's put down some jumpers and have a socially-distanced kickabout. Long shots only, and no hugging and kissing.
