I remember when Huddersfield were relegated from the top flight in 1972? Was great to see them come back last time after so long. GeneHunt59 Yes, successive relegations, to the old 4th Division for the first time in '74-'75. ![]() ![]() |

Huddersfield Giants in the RL Challenge Cup final on Saturday and Huddersfield Town at Wembley on the Sunday. Might be a bit of a ghost town that weekend.

Nah, leave the lights on. It will make it easier for the burgulars from Halifax when they pop over to nick everything.

Liverpool need to score a few tonight to reduce the seven goal difference. What are the chances of another Crystanbul equivalent?

If Liverpool don't get a move on it's going to down to Leicester to give Southampton their annual 9 goal drubbing, and I'm not sure we're really that team this year!

So, Huddersfield Town vs Nottingham Forest at Wembley, May 29th. The prize: a Premiership place in 2021-22. Excitement tinged with a dash of apprehension. ![]() |

I'd love to see Forest back. Purely based on the great Forest side of my childhood, that I'm actually a tiny bit too young to remember properly... and then always being in the top tier thereafter (until they weren't). That's football logic for you ^^ |

Don't worry Liverpool fans, Coutiniho will score a late wonder goal. To make it 6-1 to city. Just managed to get playoff final tickets in the carnage of York's self inflicted ticketing debacle (whoever thought allowing unlimited ticket purchases was a good thing?!) |
