Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hi, can I join :-)

First scan today, 28th December is now the due date (was about the 3rd Jan so moved forward a bit).

Just the one, which is a bit of a relief as the wife's cousin had triplets a fortnight ago (naturally conceived, which everyone is telling me is pretty rare so we were wondering if lightening would strike twice!)

Yay! Congratulations!!!

On another note: who updates the header? It seems we have had a few more babies born since February who should also have their header time. And to add the newly outed pregnancy announcements.

Congratulations Herman!

Twins run in my family so I was relieved that I'm only expecting one...I'm amused that they call it a singleton pregnancy.

I've got a day off from monitoring tomorrow and haven't got to go back until Thursday now :-D Although my husband started talking about future pregnancies to the consultant this morning and I'm not sure I'm ready to even contemplate that just yet or for a long while yet :-O

Congratulations, HermanBloom!

UC, glad to hear your blood pressure has stabilised and you were allowed to go home. :) I found it rather funny how before our baby was born, all consultants and midwives wanted to talk about future pregnancies - and now that he's here, the one topic they all have to tick off is contraception. :)

Thanks everyone :-) All a bit more real post-scan. Have a house move hopefully next month and then the real planning/panic will begin!

Hi All, guess this is one club I can now finally join! Baby CtD due 4th November. Our first baby, and we are complete baby novices so lots to learn (and buy!) in the coming months.

Congratulations CtD.
Don't worry about being a baby novice - everyone is at first.
Also - I'd advise not going too mad buying stuff before the baby arrives, I was amazed how much stuff people gave us, I must have saved hundreds of pounds by being very disorganised and not having much more than the very very basics until the last minute!
