Rosehip
I'm not camping again until Easter! - the ground is so wet it would be no fun at all -

but I'm old and out of camping practice - I need a chair that sits straight these days :)

It's awful. I went up to Whin Rigg on Saturday via Irton Fell, I don't mind a bit of boggy ground but that was ridiculous.....

Rosehip
The rivers around Carlisle and the A66 home today looked much higher than I remember them being this time last year - hope the rainfall for the next couple of months comes in well below average - otherwise it's going to be more than a bit sodden this winter :(

flanker
There was a raven sitting outside Homebase the other day - in central Cambridge. Which is about as far removed from mountains as you can get.

Norway is an amazing place.

Really Flanker? I wonder where it lives!

I shall look at the big "crows" flying over Sandy Heath a bit closer next time!

oo a ferry, now that's a thought......

I think ravens live (nest) in the trees that border the A10 between Landbeach and Chittering?

For anyone living outside the Lake District who is missing their scenery fix, look out for 'The A Word' on BBC1 tomorrow night.
