I'm not camping again until Easter! - the ground is so wet it would be no fun at all -
but I'm old and out of camping practice - I need a chair that sits straight these days

It's awful. I went up to Whin Rigg on Saturday via Irton Fell, I don't mind a bit of boggy ground but that was ridiculous.....

The rivers around Carlisle and the A66 home today looked much higher than I remember them being this time last year - hope the rainfall for the next couple of months comes in well below average - otherwise it's going to be more than a bit sodden this winter

There was a raven sitting outside Homebase the other day - in central Cambridge. Which is about as far removed from mountains as you can get.
Norway is an amazing place.
