Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Dave, my fingers are crossed for you. Are you hoping for the Mara or the 20?

Eva: Mara. I ran the 20 mile course the other day - no point doing it again! ;)

Folks... I need to decide whether to do the Duchy, and risk knackering myself for Brighton, or if possibly not being able to do long runs would knacker Brighton anyway and I should go for broke this weekend.

I'd appreciate your viewpoints here:

(I'll also ask the people at the Brighton thread, so it's even!)

Hey Dave how are your limbs?

I did a 4 mile run yesterday, a very steady pace just to test the legs after the BallBuster and felt very very strong. happy with that, just hope my shoulder gets better!

My limb are resting so I won't know until I get a little run in tomorrow, but I feel good. I am heartened by the arrival of my Fetch buff.

Mixed news on weather. It looks fine and cool, which will be good, but the wind is now forecast 14mph Westerly... which is not ideal up on the cliffs...

14 is pretty low.... I know it won't feel like it. What are the gusts likely to be up to?

It'll be fun at the top of the cliff road, that's for sure.

did this last year, lots of fun after you turn in from the coast and go up a steep hill with the wind blowing you back down!
