Herbert won the “emerging rookie qb of the year” award from ESPN espn.com Yes - seems a bit rough on Bendy to be dropped after one game. But I guess the red rifle will be back soon hopefully |

I remember watching a lot of Herbert tape this time last year when it looked like we’d get a good draft pick but not good enough to get Burrow - may be rose coloured spectacles but I was much more impressed than I was by Trevor Lawrence. Never wanted us to take Tua - he’s always going to be injury prone and lefties put my teeth on edge. And the only other option seemed to be Cam Bloody Newton. |

Kyle Allen just took a horrendous injury to his leg. They showed it once on Redzone and said to look away if you are squeamish. I didn’t... Probably should have Alex Smith in at QB - probably permanently |
