The Jets are 0-6 against the spread. The bookies gave them a suitable head start and they managed to exceed expectations 6 games in a row.

That is the kind of thing that only happens in appraisals with an “exceeds expectations” grade

Four years ago, Pittsburgh scored four TDs against Dallas and 'went for two' every time, including two in Q1. They failed to convert any of them.

Dallas attempted two in Q4, in order to open up a seven point lead and failed with both. Dallas won 35-30.

I thought a 2pt conversion was something like a 52% chance of success on average versus 97% for a PAT

I suppose the analytics build in the fact that there’s a fifty fifty chance that you lose the toss in OT. You might never actually get another chance to win the game f you don’t go for the two point attempt.

Sometimes the under dog team goes for it as they were lucky to get a chance of winning and would probably have say a 30% chance of winning in OT

I guess also there is the onside kick if it goes wrong?

The stats say go for two every time. But I guess you want to save your cleverest Red Zone plays for when 6 points are on the line. Plus the criticism you get for failing on a 2 pointer is higher than the kudos for making it.

Class by Fitz. Apparently he led the cheering when Tua came on in garbage time at the end of the last game.

And we might have the question to our long-standing answer.

The only other veteran quarterback I can think of classy enough to be his replacement's number one cheerleader might just be Tyrod Taylor.
