Not many ultras where you get the lead two runners racing each other all the way through and only a single second between them over the finish line. It's a brilliant race. Not an event, a proper race.

i must do a race and not an event .lol.
yes i said it sounds a pleasant race and it dosen't clash with anything important to me ogee and mabe find something to make a weekend of it for bomb and me as its a fair hike .

i qualify i think, i forgot what the time frame for the sub 4:30 is my last one was March 2009. I dont meet the sub 4 faster runner rule Phil had though so i get classed as a slow runner which he limits numbers off. Not as if i've done 2 marathons and thought i'd try a ultra either as i'm on 16 plus 4 ultras all 40+ miles
