Seconded. This isn't going at all well; we need one of these two to make a very large contribution and their form so far this series tends to suggest this will not happen...

On the positive we might get a 30-40 minute session to have a go at their openers tonight...

Is this because they cant be beaten? Poor mental attitude if so, they need to get back on top or risk losing the return series by 3 tests at least

Cook's was a poor shot; Bell's was a poor shot; Trott's was a poor shot; I can forgive Kevin and Rooooooooot.
Sloppy crickit, Aggers.

Kind of disagree. Cook left one that pitched wider than previous deliveries and Bird made it come back a LONG way. Got to give credit to the bowler for that one.
KP looked as if he were trying to hit every ball for a packet. It felt death and glory watching that and so it was death.

Catching up on the TMS post-3rd Test review podcast - Boycs and Vaughan agreed that the Durham pitch was perfect for skiddy bowlers like Siddle, Bird and Onions, rather than the likes of Bresnan and Tremlett. Oops.

FFS have England signed up Boycott as batting coach and not told anyone. The scoring rate is piss poor but unlike Boycott they can't defend their wickets.
