Did they kick Vijay out because he wouldn't sculpt his facial hair to resemble a Bollywood hero?

Looks like a good toss for Hants to win - Yorkshire are 110-6 and Kohler-Cadmore (who's scored about 99.94% of our runs recently) is out... PS That run out is a thing of beauty - I'd love to know what the non-striker's train of thought was... |

I love the fact that we came so close to messing it up. It was brilliant. 13 professional cricketers on the field and not one of them emerged looking good.

My god that is the most incompetent piece of professional sport I have ever seen from all parties involved. Reminds me a tad of this.... (It is IMPOSSIBLE not to laugh at this - even if the 2 deliveries don't get you, the tuck of the bat under the arm and removal of gloves like a proper batsman will....) |

In fact I've just rewatched it with commentary and we can include the commentator as well - saying that 'there was nearly a run out there' at the point at which both batsman are stood at one end not moving while Essex are fumbling about with the ball on the square... Magnificent. Utterly magnificent. |

The real incompetence is that the 'out' batsman would in fact have been 'in' if he had not left his ground long after the other batsman had gone past and the other fella would have been out... but agree the commentator must get an honourable mention.

or he'd have been safe if he'd just run to the other end while they were faffing about with the ball.
