Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Online and postal entries now closed - but people can still enter on the day!

Hope everyone is good form for this, weather forecast is fairly good, cool, overcast, dry with the occasional shower at the mo. I will see you all at mile 25 where I'm marshalling and quite possibly at the start to laugh maniacally ... mwwwaaa haaa haaa.

I'm a Cornish marathon virgin....just had my 'last meal'! Ran 3:16 in Dublin just 3 weeks ago. I must be mad but looking forward to tomorrow. I have been reliably informed that I am not to expect a PB on the 'cornish course' Gulp....

Add 10 minutes on to your Dublin time, unless you thrive on hills, in which case you might get away with 4 or 5. But have fun tomorrow, and I will be the last marshal at mile 25 when you turn off the main road and onto the homeward straight.

Well....what a race I loved it! 3:18 so it seems the hills didn't take too much out of my legs! It was fabulous to run a race on the roads I train on...a bit weird, so used to being out there alone! A massive thank you to the Harriers and all the marshals. I can happily say that this has been the race of the year for me...up there with the Grizzly in my opinion. I'll be back next year to break 3 hours...

Sad about The Duchy, my first ever marathon. I was hoping to return one year. I'll have to try The Cornish instead
