From Helston through the Penrose estate to Porthleven is a decent walk, you can eke that out to take up most of a day if you do there and back, take a look at Loe Bar, wander round the woods etc.

I only remember the walk from St Austell to Charlestown harbour and back.

there is the Helston Park run too - through the Penrose estate :-)
