Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Cheltenham Parkrun anyone?

Yes Corky 23, I've emailed them, the barcode seemed to scan ok, so not sure what the problem was. There was a lot of Unkowns, so maybe it's just teething problems.

couple of issues have been

runners with no barcdoes, though this is improving.
runners taking finish tokens and then never getting them scanned!
scanners don't really tell you yes i defo scanned that very well, I was scanning last week, you do get a beep but when there are 2 scanners or a lot of chatter it's not always clear.

Looking forward to running it for the first time tomorrow. Don't forget to volunteer the odd week fetchies!

just email cheltenhamhelpers@parkrun.com and say you like to be added to the volunteer list. you will then get a reminder email when we are in need, and can reply with a yes if you can help out, or simply ignore it till another week.

I'm running for the first time tomorrow too, looking forward to it!

It's been lovely to hear so many people (who would probably have described themselves as "not really a runner ;-)) talking enthusiastically about parkrun. Long may it continue - and yes they *are* runners :-)

wooo me too, hope I get to come along this weekend to make 4 in a row :) 161 in the drizzle last week?! would be amazing if all 500+ registered runners with chelt as their home run cam along in the same week!

I think we might need to wait for slightly warmer weather for that!

I'll be there this week - thought we'd be tied up elsewhere but turns out the weekend is available for running :-)
