The first bit that isn't flat, no one remembers, because it is only 3 miles in, their legs are fresh and they are still too busy making sure that they don't fall over anyone else while trying to grab a drink. That is the most not-flat bit. The later bits that are not flat hurt more.

I hope that shirt they sent on registration in 2019 still fits me by then (i havent worn it yet). The buff is looking worn as it has had much use. By the time I run this race it will be 2.5 years after I registered for it. Sign of the times..
