Always look forward to seeing you guys at mile 19 - you're awesome! This year, I'll be the loony wearing an Hawaiian shirt (to celebrate my 50th marathon) and will look to get there around 1.15 pm. Will there still be any Jaffa Cakes left by that time?

I'll be running, but dont need anything. Usually by mile 19 I am in "grimace and bear it" territory, but if not I'll try to wave :)

Becca and sk - what time are you getting there? I noticed it's a later start this year (9:45), and also I'm planning on coming straight to Hove instead of my usual stint on Jubilee St and then walking along - last year it was a real battle through the crowds and I can't face it again! There's a direct train from Victoria gets to Hove at 10:24, so would be at FP around 10:45. (Also means I won't have to leave home at sparrow's fart!!)

That's exactly the train that I was planning on getting, kwala. Will be getting on at Gatwick Airport.

Okay, apologies everyone. Ive put more train information down for Sunday. Unfortunately Ive put it on the wrong forum.
So if your interested, go across to the Brighton Marathon Forum.
Those who know me, will already have first hand knowledge of my lack of computer skills. If any kind Fetchie knows how to cut & paste from one Forum to another, please go ahead & do so with my post.

12barDavid's post from the other thread (in it's entirety, including the "Oh b----r" moment"!!)

"On Sunday, the trains from London Victoria leave at 17 minutes past the hour. So the 08:17 arrives in Hove at 09:27. The 09:17 arrives at 10:24.
As I put in a previous post on the forum, from Hove direct to London Victoria, they leave at 55 minutes past the hour. So, 13:55 from Hove gets to London Victoria at 15:04, the 14:55 arrives at 16:04.
Be careful at London Victoria. There are two trains an hour from Victoria to Littlehampton. The one Fetchies should get on is obviously the one via Hove. There is one that goes via Horsham & Arundel.
Ive checked the National Rail website & there are no engineering works this weekend, allegedly.
Now all Ive got to do is find out where the Fetchpoint is. Someones said Hove Lagoon, someone else has said The King Alfred Swimming Pool. Mind you, those two locations are only a mile apart.
Oh b----r. I should have put this on the Brighton Marathon Fetchpoint Forum. To late now. I'll do it later."
