There's one on the list from Nicholls595 that's been there for over a year and I've never got round to finding out what it means.

It'll be a northern thing that will leave us southern softies confused and disappointed. We should do it.

Just for the record,

I live North of Nottingham, but not in North Nottinghamshire.

I live in the East Midlands, I don't think there is such a thing as North Midlands?

The operative word there being "Midlands"

I live North of Greppers, but then again, doesn't everyone?

Lord Fetch can be found regularly running in these parts. I don't think he owns a whippet.

I live about half way up England, but nowhere near half way up Britain.

We say "me duck" not "I'll si thee" or "Howay the lads" or "Och eye the noo".

The only time I feel in anyway Northern, is when I go on holiday to Cornwall

I live in the South, but say "me duck", "I'll si thee", "Howay the lads" and "Och eye the noo". This may be the reason I spend more time in here than with friends in the pub
