Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hi Folks
The best head torch I have ever used is back in stock at Alpkit. Don't hang around - they have a habit of selling too quick for the company to keep up

alpkit.com

Read any review you like but these are 85 lumens, light and comfy and only £15, really cant go wrong. I use mine one bike and running as well as camping

I've got one of these but I find the light diffusion doesn't work for me. I keep it by my bed in case of a power cut and use a Petzl Tikka for running.

:-)

Not commission but I love the little guy doing good things. Too many big name brands selling average kit. I have a load of Alpkit kit and and it is all great (even splashed out on a tent). I camp and hike in VERY wild stuff and Alpkit rocks

£15 for a headtorch at 85 lumens...

I was out in Jan hunting for 2 folk in Langdale and this torch blew away the rest of the team

Happy to take commission though ;-)

Thanks for the reminder, I was waiting for these to come back into stock. Now I can see before I run into stupid bollards in the places they shouldn't be :-)

I love my Alpkit headtorch, too. I also love looking at its blue straps. :-)

What about the rechargeable batteries thing? It says on the website not to use them. Anyone tried rechargeable batteries with it?

I bought one after your last recommendation. Love it. Was out racing in the dark with it tonight. Lightweight and powerful. Get one while you can folks.

Hmm. Couldn't resist - bought one. Run yesterday was more about faith than foresight...
