I've surprised myself. My average pace seems to have quickened over each leg. And feeling really strong at the moment. However after some double days, I had really easy runs on Wednesday and Thursday.

Well done everyone - some fab miles on the vwhw. Great to see Stoosh, congrats to finisher (already).
I've managed to cover much of the trails and hills of west Fife with my 90 miles this (8 day) week so am now virtually napping somewhere beyond Lundavra's bonfire, just before the final fire road descent towards the finish.
Today's 15 miles were great (over 1800ft of hills too) - I got to run (carefully 2m apart) with (near to) Dave_K of this parish (hopefully he'll drop by this thread) as he finished his 95 miles. Will have to find some photos on the phone next.

Well it's early o'clock on a weekend before I'd normally be up for work so... so it must be WHW running! Off to meet Kenny T to accompany him from just past KLL to the finish. This will be my 45 mile support running (virtually) with him and Katy P too. Though she may pull off at Lundavra to go to the finish to cheer him in (virtually cos she'll be returning home to Edinburgh and we'll be coming back over car to Fife!)
It's a laugh this! Great pics mrs s again. Well done everyone who is finishing. See some of you on etelevision or whatever it's called at 7pm tonight. G

Have a fab day HappyG, we're about to meet one of my usual whw crew RitchieC for a run. I've got 14.5 miles to go which was too much for Rich (he's doing the relay) so we're going to run 6 miles together then I'm coming back home to run the rest with eldest son Lachlan. It's sunny here for the first time since last Friday!

We ended up doing 9.5 miles this morning so I've got 5 miles to go.
Fenners I changed my plan because the weather forecast here is for heavy rain tomorrow morning. I know I'm a woose!

I love running in all conditions. When on the Lakeland 100 (or any long distance race) you can't choose the weather, you have to crack on. So I get out there. However the Fens rarely has the challenging conditions that effect other parts of the UK.
