Really? Sure you wouldn't rather wait for a later pool and have this? SWEET PLACENTA TREAT: Ground placenta adds depth and texture. Here, we substituted a quarter of the flour in the recipe with fine-ground placenta, which contributes welcome crunch and golden color to the cake. Cooked placenta also works well with poached fruits, nutmeg or cinnamon, or a thin brown-sugar glaze. |
