Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

I\'ve just spent the last hour cleaning the cupboard under the stairs, so when I found the hex head screws I ordered last year to make my Screw shoes I decided to get ready for winter early.
Take one pair of old trail shoes, some #8 half inch stainless steel sheet metal screws and a drill fitted with the screwdriver bit adapter and 1 cup of tea.
5 minutes later I\'ve got a set of winter ready screw shoes, bring on the ice.
spotted the idea last year on irunfar

I just tried using yaktraks on snowy conditions. For a short 5 mile run they were fine but on a longer run I don't like them as my foot impacts sooner into the ground than expected. In fact found my trail shoes were sufficient on flat surfaces. They were not so on hills.

Rab Lee + P.E = ice bugs

Am thinking to get a pair for their water proofness. Anyone tried them?
