I never thought I'd be a runner and never intended to be one. I started just to give me some baseline fitness to start play some other sports. That was 3 years ago now, I still haven't played any other sport, nor would I in case I injured myself and couldn't run.
Once I realised how amazing running is I didn't think I'd ever bother ruining the fun by entering a race. But this year I hope to run 4 5ks, 3 10ks, 2 HMs and a marathon.
Goals for 2017:
5k: Sub 19:30 in a race/parkrun (PBs are a 19:59 at start of a 10k or a 20:45 in training) 10k: Sub 40 (PB 41:05) Half: Sub 1:30 (PB 1:31:05) The main goal though is to run a marathon.
