Away to turn 43 this year ! Ahhhh. Took up running to loose a massive amount of excess weight as I'd allowed my self to become 15.59stone. I'm only 5'2" ! After almost a year I've lost 3.75 stone & would like to loose another 2 stone to bring me closer to my goal weight of 9.45 / 10 stone & I would be delighted!! I've only done 2 races ! Race for life last year which was 5k in 26.7 mins & then did Crathes Castle half marathon in 2.34hours which I was really proud & emotional about as it was a great achievement & accomplishment from my point of view!!
Had to take some time out over Xmas as prolapsed a disc which has been hell as its sitting on my sciatic nerve & pinching my sacroiliac ligament !! Not much fun let me tell you! How I've managed to keep working & running throughout I will never know ! But I have!! I'm up to running a steady 13 miles each weekend in 2.30. Hoping to build up to 15miles next weekend . I usually run 3 - 5 miles every day & do choi Kwang do twice a week ! My days off are usually a Thursday & Sunday.
