I started running in 2002, then decided to train for the local Race For Life. Did that and from that day on was addicted to running! Had a great year in 2002, but in January 2003 I suffered a ligament injury in my right knee, which took months (years in fact) to heal properly and it's only in the last year or so that I have been able to run pretty much niggle free from the old injury. In the meantime I started dating my (now) husband from RW in 2003 and went on to have 2 children before finally tying the knot with him in 2009. I'm pleased to say my husband seems to be running injury free at the moment and even the kids have run their first race, 100m kids race at the Hogsmill 5!
Next races in the pipeline are:
None at the moment... I'm faffing about deciding what to do!!
I hope to run a 10 mile race again sometime this year (first for many years!) or maybe even run my first half marathon, you never know!
