I started running because I wanted to lose weight. I picked a local race (Tees Pride 10K Sept 6th 2010) and started to train for it. At first I just used the treadmill, then I started running on an internal 200m track, now I like running in the great outdoors. I ran my first proper race recently (Saltburn Sandblaster 10K) and really enjoyed it, even though the course was tough. I am hoping that my enthusiasm continues. Targets - lose another stone, run a sub-50:00 10K.
