Im almost 35 and have a long history of lower back problems which has seen my fitness detriorate from being able to run a 6 minute mile to not being able to run a bath. Anyway decided to kick myself up bum,set a goal for the London Marathon next year if I can get a place. I am curently training about 3-4 times a week and doing 3 & 4 milers at the moment but its getting easier and my times are coming down gradually. I have entered the Dorney lake 10km in April so hopefully should be fit enough not to look like a numpty by then. Always open to advice so please get in touch.
