Started running again in 2003 after a long break. Ran a lot in the 80s when my best marathon (London 1983) was 3:10:54. Best now (Abingdon 2006) 3:56:55 (it's much easier in one's 30s than the 60s; but it's STILL WORTH DOING). It would be a damned sight harder without my excellent club - Sandhurst Joggers.
