Started running in 1998 to lose weight. Ran Edinburgh marathon in 1999 then had a break and put all the weight back on. Started running again in 2001 and, well, the rest is history. Still a slow plodder but discovered a passion for cycling in 2005 when I bought a bike and cycled LEJOG solo, as you do. Now an obsessive mountain biker with an even bigger love for the Lake District where I plan to move in 2015. Watch this space......
