Started out as a Mountain biker, then got into running through adventure racing. I'm slowly learning to enjoy running. I'm still a mountain biker at heart.
I like the great outdoors so prefer my activities to be "offroad" and more of a challenge than a straight race. That's probably due to the fact that I'm getting older and slower so straight races mean I finish well down the field. Just love recceing for events finding checkpoints or routes. Spent quite a bit of time in the Cheviots, Howgills and Lake District this year fabulous
