GER. Not trained for this over the last few months and limited running time over the last 6weeks, Decided to enter to use it as some proper training and go for 1.50. Felt comfortable from the start and was worried that this wouldn't last, but it did and I got stronger and kept my head down under my cap. Stats say I overtook 222 people and was only overtaken by 15 or something. Pace varied just over and just under 8s. Seemed to do 8.03 consistently into the headwind. I personally thought the weather conditions were really ideal! Perhaps if I had had more of a clue of my ability I could have made up those 20 secs but I think I took the sensible approach.
