Notes & Comments
Ran the Fairlands Valley Challenge (the twelve mile option) as a relaxed training run. First 4.4 miles to first checkpoint with Gobi and Balham Bouncer and then ran the rest of the way with two guys from St. Albans Striders and Fairlands Valley Striders. Very difficult to navigate and without the guys I picked up I would have got SO lost!!! Enjoyable run (although tough course) and nice not to be racing for a change. Very well organised race with free bread pudding at every station and a free BBQ at the end!!
