Notes & Comments

Manchester Marathon. Not my finest hour. First walked just before 20km and was through halfway in 1:56 the wheels came off both mentally and physically in the 2nd half and it was just a blessed relief to get it done. I don't enjoy the training or racing of the Marathon distance, but I would just like to nail one before I take a good long break from them :-) Perhaps the Marine Corp Marathon in the Autumn or London 2015 if I get lucky with the ballot and then it will be goodnight 26.2. Can't wait :-)

Si - good to see the splits for the marathon, but you really don't seem to enjoy training for it - would be good to see you go hard one more time and see what you can do with a concentrated burst of training. Nice to tick another marathon off the list though!

Yeah I make that 8 stand alone marathons and ten has a nice ring to it.i had a decent 6 week block in the lead up but needed another 10 weeks and some 18-22 milers.ill get it done.dont know how you do your monster bush runs.
