Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Notes & Comments

Weston Prom run, 5 miler. 14/256

2km out, 2km back and repeat. Wind wasnt too much of an issue but a bit worse of out KM's. With zero warm up and the GO being announced out of nowhere was pleased with the result. Splits pretty consistent except wind made 5/6km hard. Annoyingly no-one really close to try and gain in closing km so was on own.

3.31, 3.39, 3.33, 3.40, 3.40, 3.49, 3.41, 3.33, 0.09km in 18 seconds.

Back achey from yesterday weights, not an issue when running. Right calf tight once finished.

Fantastic result - would love to see a 5k PB - sub 17.30?

14th place and sub 30. Mega! Love it when you race. Were you near an age group prize? Well done mate.

Also best WAVA and same pace as 5k so got to be plenty of room in that 5k PB. Legend.

It is a new WAVA PB which is always cool, technically best race of my life. I think I could run around 17.30 on a flat course, will try and get down to a Parkrun when got the chance. Not aware of there being any prizes Si, I doubt it, looked like mainly people my age that were ahead of me!

Yeah Senior Male is a bit competitive, keep running those times into your 40's and you could grab yourself a prize :-) Look forward to seing how you get on at parkrun.

Good work Pete - great race and finishing 14th sounds pretty awesome!
Please wait... saving your change.
