Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Notes & Comments

A really fun race today at Silverstone. I set off at 1.30 pace (the 1.30 pace-man was right behind me for the first 10K), but I struggled over the second half of the race to maintain my pace.

I managed to set a PB of 11 mins 43 secs and there was an unofficial 10K PB in there as well! I was really pleased that I managed to hold it together well in the final 7 or 8K and I managed a sprint finish. My Garmin was slightly out and measured it at 21.54km. This meant that it became increasingly difficult to tell what time I was on for. I think I may try and re-calibrate it before London.

Overall, I was really pleased with my day's work. Si also did really well and managed a sub 1.45 out of nowhere. I ended up 335th out of 6189. O and that included Iwan Thomas who ran a 1.38!

O nice. I saw him go past me, he must have really upped the pace. Nice position, nearly top 5%! Sets you up perfect for final push to London.

Nearly 12 minute PB, so impressed and proud of what you are doing right now Luke, stronger by the day sticking with it all brilliantly and set up so well for London. Keep doing what you are doing, dont overdo it and just keep enjoying it!

And thanks for the message! I'm sure I wouldn't have improved so much without your coaching!
