Notes & Comments

Marlow Half. Temp about 9C. Felt pretty good until the hill out of Hambledon after 7 miles. Right on 9 min/mile to that point. Bit of a stuggle thereafter. Finished strongly on the last 1.5 mile downhill stretch but just missed 2 hours. Not bad considering that I did not do any LSRs in preparation. Absolutely knackered when I got home. Lay down for a bit then pottered around the house for the rest of the day. Bit of a reality check for plans to do a marathon.
