The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
Makka
Well. What can I say! Disappointed after running so well throughout the race. Got caught up at the beginning as I needed to poo just before the start! Really need to sort something out about that. Had to run like a loony and zig-zag through the crowd just to get a 7.28 first mile, then got caught up again in the 3rd mile. After that it was pretty much plain sailing until I realised how much extra I had run through all the zig-zagging. By the time I got to 26.2 miles in 2:58.56 I still had another 600 metres to go to the finish. Gutted PBH but I know I ran a sub 3hr marathon. All in all, a great experience. the last 5k need to be sub 20 and that was never gonna happen as it felt like running through treacle! Anyone got a spare entry for the Luton Marathon?!!
