Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Notes & Comments

That was hard work - particularly in the unseasonable heat. Managed to clear my splits by accident, but remember doing 3.45 for the first km, then mostly 4-ish until about 7km, when I reallly started struggling - particularly with undulations and slight head wind. Would quite happily have jacked it in then had MrD's credits not been resting on it! Pleased to take a minute out of my PB. Sub-40 would have been nice - but not to be on that course today.

Great run Ed and good to see you this morning. It really was hot so a 1-minute PB is a brilliant achievement, especially with the injury niggles this year.
MrD
Great run Ed, especially pleased as my 100 fetch credits were riding on you. Isn't it funny how the strangest things can inspire you to carry on. Sub 40 for sure on a flat course.

Thanks for the comments chaps. By about half way I had convinced myself that so long as I got a PB and 70% WAVA I was never going to run another 10k ever again. Obviously I'm now thinking about when to go for sub-40 minutes...
