Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Notes & Comments

GSR. Amazing run today. Just all fell in perfect. Garmin wasn't working so I just ran to feel and manually lapped. Missed the first mile marker so I wasn't sure how it was going till I hit mile 2 in 12.15

Just kept going to feel and the miles were clicking off nicely. Resisted pushing on, but by 9 miles I had worked out a SB was on.

Dodgy maths though (not a good sign for a maths teacher) as actually I was bang on PB pace, and managed to hold it for the last few miles.

Proper base training racing though as I felt comfortable but couldn't really pick the pace up much. When I seen the clock at the finish line I couldn't believe how close to 80 I'd been and obviously now I wish I'd pushed on a bit, but absolutely delighted with a new PB, my best race performance ever, and my training is only about 4 weeks in. Honestly didn't see this coming :)
