Shakespeare Marathon - which I'm putting down as nothing more than a (very, very) bad day at the office. Taking the first half at target pace took literally all I had, and I suffered a complete meltdown which left me switching off my Garmin, sitting down on a garden wall, and looking for a bus to the finish. A combination of being too embarrassed to officially withdraw and too proud to take a DNF left me little choice but to run/walk the second half in shame.
