Halstead Marathon - 2nd Place overall

Well that was hard. Probably the hardest marathon I have done. The heat was extraordinary after about 3 miles, and then the 'undulations' took it out of my legs after mile 10.
Some sections of the course were pretty windy too.

Cracking trophy to take home. And V40 Essex Championship Gold Medal and Essex Open Championship Gold Medal. Not a bad day at the office.

Think I may have to re-evaluate my Max Hr, seems it got up to 179 towards the end, unless the Garmin was on the blink.
