Notes & Comments

Felixstowe Half Marathon. Had it planned to do the Norwich CR 10k but Mary was still injured from Mablethorpe last week. Didn't fancy going all the way to Norwich & doing it on my own. Sarah already had someone else pushing her round so that was ok.
Last minute decision to do Felixstowe . Entered on the day. Ran it fairly gently & increased the pace slightly on the second lap.
Legs still had a bit of last weeks marathon in them & took a couple of miles to loosen up. I'd forgotten just how undulating this course is. Wind was really strong but it's a really nice half . Still having to concentrate on holding back when I feel I could go a lot quicker at times. Still , better to be safe than sorry. My fastest half since the heart attack.
