Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Notes & Comments

The Ponton Plod 17.5M - Had a fantastic run, really enjoyed once the first couple of miles were done and I'd warmed up. Did have right leg problems in the latter stages of the run but I just did the best I could and kept going with only a couple of little walking breaks when it got too much to bare. A great cross country run which was pretty well marked and the route description was ace. Only one error where Rich wouldn't listen and we followed someone (who had actually gone wrong). We ended up climbing barbed wire feances, electric fences and had to clamber through nettles and brambles. Only seemed to lose 2 places but quite a bit of time. Was fun though :-) We were panicing a little as I had been told at CP 1&2 that I was 1st lady and we could see some ladies not far behind making there way across the field (the proper way). Was a good thing I think because it really made me keep going and running as much as pos on the hills and inclines. Enjoyed the rest of the run and met a Mark Perry looky-likey who seemed like a really nice friendly bloke too (it was him we had followed when we went wrong). A really enjoyable run from start to finish, where I was indeed 1st lady :-)
Please wait... saving your change.
